As you may or may not know, there will soon be an updated version to the 1985 legendary hit record, “We Are The World.” Lil Wayne is one of the artists who will be featured on the remake. No stranger to natural disaster in his own city of New Orleans, Weezy had this to say regarding the aid given to the ravaged country of Haiti.

Katie Couric's full interview with Lil Wayne

Posted by J. Tinsley on February 5, 2009

Here’s the full interview with Katie Couric and Lil Wayne (to the snippet) I posted awhile back.  It’s funny because Katie really seemed to be intrigued by Wayne and what he had to say. Contrary to what other sites are saying, I thought it was a decent interview.  Katie did seem to have a crush on him, but the interview seems to flow smoothly so in the end, that’s all you can ask for. The part about being a role model for millions might have been Weezy’s realest segment of the the interview.

The conversation about weed was hilarious though. “I will stand up for marijuana anyday…”

Wayne still doesn’t want to see me at a bowling alley. Just thought I should mention that.

Every Girl x Thank You x New Orleans Maniac – Lil Wayne x Young Money

Posted by Mr. Put On on January 30, 2009

THIS IS MAJOR ! The martian and his team of Young Money all stars come through with some really major heat to make my Thursday as a whole a great day for my music head self. So much heat has been unleashed today from all directions, Every Girl which features Drizzy Drake Rodgers, Jae Millz, Gudda Gudda & Mack Maine and I must say this is my overall favorite way better then anything these dudes did on Dedication 3 as far as bars go. Thank You features Jae Millz & Mack Maine is Young Money’s version of what I call an acceptance speech, which in reality was replaced with some real ill bars. New Orleans w/ Gudda Gudda has the martian so why he can do rock for a while and STILL be on the top of many people’s list. SIDEBAR: I have a feeling these won’t the last of the Young Money all stars before the weekend ends, so be on the look out!

“I would fuck all of y’all, all of y’all are beautiful/ I could never pick one so u can never say I’m choosey hoe”

– Drake (c) Every Girl

“Future billionaire, I gotta be on the list/ Got a runway in my pants cause all the models be on my dick/ Young Money, Young Money, swallow that shit bitch/ Santa Claus killer with a holiday shit list”

– Weezy (c) Thank You

Click the jump for the tracks..

Lil Wayne feat. Young Money–Trouble Maker

Posted by J. Tinsley on January 28, 2009

“This ain’t nursery, this is brain surgery/ Ski mask on my bullets let ’em commit brain burglary/ E-mergency, it’s an emergency/ Someone in all black left the whole scene burgandy…”–Lil Wayne

Yeah, this another one of those tracks I was mentioning earlier.  Sorry for the late post, but I’m just getting home, you know how that goes.  Also, found out I don’t have to go to my other job today seeing as how the retail industry has been all but dead since Santa left town.  Anyway, some brad new Weezy…which might go down as the most redundant statement of the decade.  It’s about time people really start realizing, when it’s all said and done, this guy alien is going to go down as one of the greatest to ever do it.  Did I offend anyone with that? If so, you probably know I’m right and just don’t want to admit it.

Shout to Splash for this one…

Duke/Wake Forest…t-minus five hours…
