Bracket Busters

Posted by servontaym on March 23, 2010

Sweet 16 is here and its sweeter for some teams than others. This weekend was definitely a bracketbuster weekend in the NCAA. It started off with ODU taking the luck from Notre Dame  in the first round.  Then it was Georgetown not showing up to play and getting ran out the gym by Ohio. Both teams making upsets by getting Automatic Bids to the tourney and being mid major teams. The Murray St game wasnt that much of an upset since the President Barack Obama picked it on ESPN. Then the smart kids from Ivy League school Cornell ruined everybody brackets by  beating Temple and  Wisconsin to make it to the  Sweet 16 where they might hit the Wall against Kentucky. Now I don’t know which lost was worst this weekend Kansas getting beat by Northern Iowa or  St Marys BeatingVillanova. I really thought that Villanova would make a strong push  for the title but they never showed up in both games they played. But NNorthern Iowa taking out Kansas was not supposed to happen. I don’t even know where Northern Iowaa is but I think they might make it  to the elite 8 playing a Lucas Free Michigan State. We just have to wait to see on Thursday and Friday when the games start again.
