For the past few weeks I have refrained from posting anything related to the unreleased video for “Spaceship”, one of the standout tracks from Kanye’s classic debut. Yesterday, the snippet of GLC’s verse leaked which was basically nonverbal communication for “the video is coming, be patient.”

In keeping up with the trend of unreleased Kanye material, GLC, in a kind gesture of e-community service, liberated the entire video for the masses. The crazy part about this entire event is that even with the album being a half a decade old, visuals such as this only continue to add to its legacy. GLC had this to say regarding the video’s release.

First off, I’d just like to thank everyone for believing! There’s a lot of people saying where we could of been if this was released in 04 but for what ever reasons it wasn’t. I no longer wanna deprive the people of their rights! You have the right to embrace my concept as well as those of Kanye, Consequence & Tony Williams as we gave you are all! This is a story of triumph over the ills of society & the workforce interfering with your pimpin’ & in this time of a recession this record may be more relevant now than it was in 2004! Thank for letting me grow with you! Love, Life & Loyalty coming soon! Hello World! Oh yeah my player is fixed too sorry about the prior non pimpish auto-play!

On a side note, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve listened to this track while driving to work.
