Marie Blanchard “Hatian Beauty” – May Featured Model

Oh so you thought the Model of the Month was no more?? “Gone for a minute, now [we’re] back with the Jump off.” Just kidding, but just when you thought it was over we’re bringing it back with a new Grade A model of the month. I hope you’re ready for her. It’s been a while and you’ve been anxiously waiting (thanks for the patience).

This month’s Grade A Model of the Month is well versed, greatly accomplished and definitely deserves it. The “Hatian Beauty”– Marie Blanchard is a carribean native of Port-au-Prince Haiti, currently residing in Pittsburgh, PA. She continues to show her true colors and shines in all aspects of her career; she clearly has the work ethic needed to make it. Career Goals: In the entertainment industry, I would like to further my acting career. Seeing myself on the big screen was just a rush from movies such as Zach and Miri, Sorority Row and more. I would love to take my acting career a bit further!

Modeling Goals: Wow, Its a bit tough in the modeling industry because sometimes in this industry enough is never enough! No matter how many gigs you book and how many goals you  achieve, you (as a model) feel like there’s always more to accomplish. Its like a never ending ladder. It just keeps on going and going!
What or who inspires you to Model: TYRA TYRA TYRA
Favorite Model: TYRA. I KNOW SHES RETIRED.There will never be another Tyra!!
How long have you been modeling: I have been modeling “as a professional” for 3 1/2 years
Any highlights in your modeling career: Yes! My first step was being hired by an agency.
Now the highlights were when I started booking Gigs from every end of modeling. From dick’s Sporting Goods. To Playboy, to booking movies and more!

Top Designers: mm I’m a Coach junky for all major accessories; such as shoes sandals and sneakers, scarves, bracelets, purses (many), my cell phone cover. I am not really a crazy with different designers. I usually stick to one. Also ALDO SHOES AND BOOTS ARE AMAZING!!

Where do you hope modeling will take you: Hopefully far beyond the stars in the Universe.
Outside of shoots, what does a typical weekend look like for you: On a typical weekend, I try to wake up as late as possible, mostly around 11 30 am. Take my Scrappy “puppy” for a walk, Hit the Gym either kicking butt in Kickboxing class or aerobics in “Zumba” then getting on the bicycle for a 10 mile trip (automated). Later on its 2 or 3 hrs or relaxation cuddling with my Hubby and Scrappy. Not to mention time on the computer answering emails and such. Then its Party time alll night long! (thats only if I am not out of town for a shoot)

Current Favorite Music Album: I listen to different types of music.I love the Rated R by Rihanna, and Blueprint 3 by Jay-Z.

What do you consider ‘Grade A’: I consider Grade A material (model terms) is a model who kicks butt and works hard everyday trying to get her career on track without any ands, ifs, or buts. A model who respects herself as well as everyone else. (Just because a model stereopy is “DIVA” MATERIAL doesnt mean she should have to act like one. Also a model who does not give a damn about whatever critical comments  are said towards her. A model who conduct herself as top class no matter what type of modeling she is doing (lingerie, video, internet, nude to fashion, beauty ect.)

What makes you Grade A material: I just try my best to be what I just said above!
